Fourth of July: All I ate all day was pie...

Todd & Paige are gracious hosts who open their home (and yard, and beach) to hundreds of hooligans each July 4 and let us set stuff on fire. So we brought a crap ton of pie...

• Emily made her famous apple pie. (But we didn't put any cheddar on it, which I'm sure made Annalise happy, although she 1) is missing out on the yum, and 2) clearly hates America, even on Independence Day. Ain't nothing more American that Apple Pie with a slice o' cheddar.)
• Annalise made her famous key lime pie (Mom's recipe!) without supervision. Apparently there was an incident, but the second-try pie was awesome.
• Amelia made a ridiculous peanut butter chocolate pie, which was frozen and therefore deliciously cold on a hot day. With peanut butter cups on top!
• Megan made a banoffee pie (I have no idea how to spell that), which was made with banana, toffee, whipped cream (Kristan helped) and gooey goodness.
• Gretchen made a lemon blueberry pie that everyone told me was amazing, but the people ate all of it before I could try it. In my defense, I had just eaten a plate of all full of all those other pies.
• Nicole failed to make pie, but purchased an appropriate backup pie. It was peach, it had lattice crust, it was yummy. I ate some when I went back for more pie.
• Jeff brought a keg, so we forgave him for not bringing pie. This time.
